same. Try to get a restful night!
Oh no, that’s a bummer! Hopefully it will suddenly work again when you put it back together. I haven’t built this kit yet, so unfortunately I can’t help you. Sometimes it helps to take a part apart and rebuild it.
Oh it really is frustrating when that happens and you have to figure out what the problem is.
I didn’t build this one yet, so I will not be able to help you.
It might just be one piece that was added wrongly even though you were following the instructions closely.
It happened to me with one of my first marble runs. Very sure I did everything right, but something did not work and turned out I just forgot one of the pieces which was definitely needed to make it work
.
So as many already said, taking a little break and continuing tomorrow like you already planned can be the best thing right now. Maybe you can see it immediately when you start building again after work ![]()
Oh, good luck! I’m sure you’ll figure it out.
I usually check the step-by-step instructions in the book to see what I might have done wrong before taking it apart.
Oh no! That is a setback, although I’m a fan of how you’ve called that a dance. I hope you can properly and easily fix it! This kind of thing can happen (I and my toy-under-the-Christmas-tree should know about it) but it shouldn’t take you down! You’re stronger than this. And you’ve been waiting for your harp for too long, I’m sure you’ll properly manage and have it finished and beautiful in no time ![]()
Awww sorry to hear about this. I hope you’ll eventually figure out what’s wrong with it. Take a step back if you need to to clear your mind.
I wouldve cried and threw that harp
i have very short patience if this were to happen, i hope it works out for you
Not done yet. I was working the sky diorama and waiting on my paints to come in. I will be finally making it this week/end. I will see Nita’s issue and try to help when i can.
Hoping between the two of you, can figure. Your both so talented
I was able to tell what was happening just by looking at it…but that part is installed several several steps before you can test…so yes, I had to dissamble quite a bit. If all goes well this evening, I may be able to finish up tomorrow. @Sasa thanks for your encouragement.
I think I have it figured out. I knew exactly what was happening just by the looks of it…but I won’t be able to reassemble until later today. @Terranoir123
I remember exactly what happened to your little rocking horse…and now he just lives his best life spinning around with the tree… @TheToday ![]()
Model building: 50% creativity, 50% “Why is this piece hitting that piece???”
I think every ROKR fan has had a moment where pieces started falling out everywhere during a repair. It feels like a catastrophic event now, but think of it as a refurbishment rather than a rebuild! Your painting is too good to let a stubborn gear win.
Tomorrow is a brand new day in the workshop! ![]()

Yeah! It may be unexpected but he’s having the good life, you’re right ![]()
Awww… thank you so much for your kind words. I definitely will not be giving up. I’ll get this tackled later today @khimmymade
Oh no! I didnt realize that this moved that much. I am very confident you will fix it in no time!
There are a lot of gears on the inside and little pieces that make the strings move. It has proven to be a bit of a challenge. @Kim_Kieffer
Don’t give up! You can make it, and I already know for sure, that in not so long time form now we will look upon a amazing creation! 100% working one! Already the color choosing is stunning and this setback is just a little bump but it’s a journey! You are always here for support all of us, but you should know that everyone here is rooting for you and your amazing talent! Sorry for the delay in writing so!
You are the sweetest. It was definitely a bummer…and I am still working on it as I have been busy with painting on my jobs. No worries about the lateness in replying. I appreciate your response anytime. I hope that things are getting taken care of with your house and moving. @aga2713
Oh, I get you. Time is something that we all need so much. About the apartment… Not really
I could honestly say that this was the most hellish month of my life. My heart is aching so much from the stress… we have 4 working days till the end of the month (which is my pre-contract deadline) I literally want to cry so much now. Still so much things to do in that time
