👍 [Beginner Tips] Having a problem gluing plants in the pot? Try this tip

Like some of you, making miniature plants and flowers can be a challenge, especially gluing them in the pots. I invite you to try this little tip.

Start with modeling clay. If you have a brown modeling clay, it’s better, but I’m using white because that’s what I have available.

Next mold it inside the pot.

I painted my clay with brown acrylic paint. No need to do so if you used brown clay.

Insert the plant and finish!. The clay will eventually dry in about 24 to 48 hours depending on how much clay you put it in. The clay also makes it look like real soil in the pot.

I used the same technique on my last build the Dreamy Garden Terrace. Dreamy Terrace Garden and learning from little mishap. It made making potted plants a breeze.

@mchipman that looks fantastic! My only concern would be that the clay would eventually dry and crumble and the plants would loosen. Do you know if that can happen?
