And last update of the week! I’m taking a long weekend vacation for Halloween. I tried to complete the whole “toy assembly line” before going to bed last night, but man, I was sleepy
so I left the second part of it (the mechanical part will have to wait! But man, can’t wait to finish it and see those little toys moving around when I press the button
it is fun enough to manually rotate the piece attached to their structure and see them turning though)
But hey, at least I had the time to build the line itself! It was an entertaining one, specially when tagging the little toys to the “tape” and while assembling that piece of structure for it. It was indeed an entertaining part of the build.
Oh! One tip/recommendation for those who are willing to build this and/or are not in this step yet. Regarding this specific part of the process in page 21:
I was kind of breaking my head about how the heck was I supposed to hold all those pieces together while also aligning the holes in them and using the screwdriver with those two P15 screws through them. Turns out you don’t have to and it took me longer than I’m proud to admit to realize it, just press the pieces in the corresponding order through the length of the P15 screws and then use the screwdriver to attach those to H15 through the hole in A25 as shown. There’s another smaller process like this one in the next page which will work in a similar way.
Hopefully I’m saving someone some brain time! ![]()
Oh, and last but not least, a funny story (Gosh, every time I post something I write too much
), as you can see in the following image, even when I like to take my time and enjoy the process, sometimes my hectic brain is so eager to keep going that I just get blind at some specific steps or images of the manual and I end up in situations like this one, as you can see, I assembled the structure without first adding the tape of toys to it. I did have a small panic attack
gladly it wasn’t hard to disassemble, add the tape and build it again properly this time lol. But I was sweating there for a moment!
Note to self and to whoever gets a bit anxious about building this stuff: take a proper look at the instructions before putting things together ![]()
