If you have the older version, you will find you have to cut and add strips for the black lines on the Greenhouse.
I am adding some pics that may be helpful.
As I stated on another post, if you own a cricut or other cutting machine, it is easier to use to cut the strips.
I then placed the strips under my ruler and used a scoring tool to score them in half. This made it easier to fold neatly.
Oh wow! I had no idea that was apart of the old design! Any wonder people hated it ![]()

Great tip thanks for sharing!
This build is a lot of work ![]()
I finally finished it! will post on my builds
Those black trims sure looks difficult to keep straight. Thank you for the tip.
Very helpful hint!
Thank you! I was trying to fold and thought darn why didnt I score them when cutting (because you can - love my Cricut) and remembered I could hand score…
Yes, I went from the Bake kitchen snap together to this. It was not hard to walk away from to do Henrys Chocolate shop. BUT I promised myself I could not start on Elsa’s until I finished this!
Free tostart tomorrow!
The new version helps you overcome those difficulties. However, I still like this set because it gives me a lot of experience.
Ohhh I didn’t think about that before
Thank you to share it
Thanks for sharing. Your build looks amazing.
Respect that you did this kit. This one is intimidating me haha
I definitely had moments and days that I had to leave it be.
Thats the best to take a break else i get frustrated and that’s the moment when things start to break
I built the older version too and had to do all those strips by hand before I got my Cricut—definitely a challenge but so worth it in the end!
Oh yeah. I get that too. It drives me insane when it breaks grrr
. And gluing the parts so that I can continue is annoying .
@Wenbare
I am unsure if I would do the older version again if given choice. I am glad I have my cricut as that made a difference. I also remembered I had a quiller (I think that is what it is called)which I started to use to make some flowers but boy those tiny things were tough.
