@7830cammy Wonderful to share this experience with your daughter! I have heard this is a challenging one. Great that you did this and completed it so nicely! Congrats!

I built 5 of them as gifts. All are still working.
They weren’t that hard to build.
It is kinda weird they have None of them in stock.

Just doing a little Fantasizing

.
My first model was the “Little Performer” music box by Rolife.
I thought I would put him in a Concert being played on a Space station in space.
He is of Course playing the lead.

@Max_Koning
Did you add the lights or did they come with? The lights look awesome! Makes you wonder if you did this now, how much faster you may be!

I bet you could get through this now with no issue!

Good luck to everyone that participate.

I started building Rolife kits in June this year. I started off with the rowood flower basket. I always love flowers and gardening. And I often buy fresh flowers and arrange it in the vase and display it on my dining table. Some of the flowers I received as a gift, it would either be in a hat box or a basket. Beautiful flowers doesnt last very long. I would be lucky if it last for 1 week. So then slowly I don’t buy much flowers anymore, I rather just gather the flowers from my garden.
So when I saw the flower basket I got hooked into it straight away. It caught my attention of how real it looks.
When I started opening the box, I saw the pieces are nicely coloured and the pieces shows a good quality plywood. It is not flimsy which made the assembly process easier. I thought it would be hard to do, but it is actually not. I followed each step carefully and I got it done.

The camellias and the roses are so beautiful. While I was doing it I broke a few pieces and I gotta say the company is very thoughtful to provide spare parts as they know I would need it..

A beautiful flower basket completed with a lot of joy.

Later on I found some of the crochet flowers that are not in use so I started to be creative and adding it to it.

At first my mum saw me making this basket she thinks I’m wasting my time and telling me to go and exercise or doing something useful. I was telling her this would be nice and it’s help me to relax after a long day at work.

When she saw the completed flower basket she was amazed to see it. She said she was surprise to see how beautiful it looks when it all comes together. And she said it can be on the dining table so we can enjoy dining and looking at it everyday. So I did. And she was asking is there more flowers that they have and I said yes. She also tell me to get more flowers and make more to display for other areas in the house.

Proudly sitting on my dining table.

It gives me so much joy to see my mum really like ig and compliment. So then I started trying out other kits and get more flowers. It is such a joyful little relaxing activity to do and unknowing it started to become my new hobby.
So that is how my journey begin.

Thank you sharing and reading my post.

Wow, very impressive!

This must be when of the first versions where you are making everything. I struggled with creating as well but got through it. You did a wonderful job and it looks great!
