I am feeling like a newbie. I did something very wrong on one of my first few pieces and now I can’t get my grooves in the Rings to line up properly on my telescope. It’s way too much for me to wrap my brain around at this moment.
I have decided to switch to something made for 3 years and older LOL! The penguin is a lot more work than I expected but the Snowman was extremely easy. I had that one done in about 10 minutes or less. No glue required
The best strategy is to give up, at least until we have recharged haha the coffee truck I was doing annoyed me so , much it’s half complete kit is collecting dust on my table. The snowman looks so cute, is it felt or craft sheets ?
Haha, sometimes you just need to put the challenging build aside for a little while! Don’t be too hard on yourself, we’ve all had those moments where one mistake makes everything suddenly look impossible. The snowman sounds like the perfect little confidence boost, especially if you finished it in 10 minutes with no glue!
We have always said, just walk away. For a better day…Are things glued? Part of me would carefully take apart if at all possible. If a part breaks, then make a note and request replacement. I am so hoping you can come back to this and fix! So disappointing when this happens. But I think most of us have been at this spot at least once!
I will give it another attempt this afternoon…after THOROUGHLY inspecting every single step I have completed this far…and hoping for a better solution than full disassembly. Thanks for your encouragement @Grey74
All the best with figuring out what went wrong. I hope something covers up those part numbers on the barrel. If not, then it was not the best idea of the designer to put the engraves detail on the same side as the part numbers.
I will make another attempt tomorrow. Not into it at all today. I also questioned Lisette when she was working on it and those numbers do get covered up. Rokr does not make mistakes like that, thankfully.
