Even though the box doesn’t say “DIY,” it is a true DIY kit; you have to enjoy that kind of assembly process, as you do everything yourself—cutting the candies, sticks, and plastic pieces, handling the cellophane bag containing the stickers, and so on. You can get a good idea of what it’s like from this first photo, and all the pages of the assembly guide follow the same format.
Everything is very well explained, and I love that they include a ruler and the scale at every point where you need to cut the material—this system works perfectly!
@Sasa I enjoy these true diy kits. It allows time to focus and concentrate on something singular. Yes it takes time and can be tedious but the results are always astonishing to me. All that hard work comes together and it makes it all better. Good job on this so far!!
Really? Well, this one has a lot of that kind of thing—haha, you couldn’t tell just by looking at the box.
The details are amazing; I can’t wait to show you more.
I love seeing your progress! This really does look like a true DIY kit, and I can see why it’s such a rewarding build. It definitely isn’t a “snap it together” project, you really get to create every tiny detail yourself. The finished result is going to be even more satisfying because of all the care and effort that goes into each little piece. I can’t wait to see the next update!
Yes, it really looks that way—it involves sheet after sheet, creating everything by hand.
It’s the kind of kit where you have to really enjoy building everything from scratch—and on a tiny scale, hehe.
