Hi! ![]()
I just realized I didn’t post the final result of this kit!
I completely forgot, I left the last post in 4.0.
The kit started off strong, since I had never made one like this before, and also with instructions in Japanese, as I already mentioned in the first post I bought it in Japan.
When I saw that I had to cut paper for the walls, floor, etc., and then glue it on, I was surprised. However, the glued-on paper doesn’t look very nice; you can tell it’s glued on.
I love the level of detail and all the accessories!
Plus, they’re all super cute! This kit is totally my style.
I had several heart attacks, which are also explained in the posts.
One was with an object that got stuck inside another, and since both were transparent, you couldn’t see it, haha. I thought that object wasn’t supposed to be there.
The other thing was that I thought the cellophane bags were supposed to come with them, but no! You have to cut them out from the cellophane that the stickers come in!
Since it was in Japanese, there was that confusion, haha.
It’s not a complicated kit, it’s very enjoyable to build. And visually it’s adorable.
It’s true that it collects a lot of dust when it’s open.
I have it on a shelf, but it still collects dust.
I need to buy the roof and lid to close it, or the custom-made transparent square; I’m undecided.
Definitely now when I see a kit with scissors, I’ll tremble hahaha just kidding.
Positive points:
- Adorable
- Lots of decorations and accessories
- Easy assembly
Negatives:
-
Sticking the decals on the walls and floor doesn’t look as nice as when they come pre-printed.
-
Making the cellophane bags is quite a challenge.
-
There’s very little string to close the cellophane bags!
In short, it’s a kit I love; it’s one of my favorites!![]()
Here’s the video I made for Instagram. I hope you’ll support it by liking, sharing, and commenting. And if you’re not following me, do it! Haha, thanks!
