Honestly, my childhood was full of great games! I used to play Tetris in black and white, Snake on my mobile phone, jump rope, play the “flicking” card game, the Crocodile Dentist game, and so on. It really was a wonderful childhood—I loved it.

Tekken! Metal Gear Solid 1, Bishi Bashi Special.
I used to play that last one with my cousin—hahaha, we laughed so much; it’s great.
It is snake , I remember that just to play this game I wait my father to return from office, & as soon as he reaches home I ask for his phone to play snake game & also me and my father compete to get high score, those were really an awesome day
well i still have the 2 original games that were my favorite when i was a kid, you can see them in the picture blow, gosh they are so old the boxes a broken and i already needed tape to boxes holding them together, the wheel in the “Levensweg” game making so much noise by now, and we never bought a new version so our 3 children always played and still play with them, let me say i am 54 years old, so you can imaging haw old these to games are in the picture below
My all-time favorite game as a kid was Super Mario Bros. I absolutely loved it! I was so hooked that I could finish the whole game and rescue Princess Peach in just one sitting. So you can probably imagine how excited I was when I finally got to visit Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan. I was literally living my childhood dream! I’m a total die-hard Super Mario fan. LOL
I am definitely a gaming addict back then! I also spent countless hours playing Tetris, especially the Facebook version where you could compete against other players. I got so good at it.
I love this game! I love Tetris but i can never find it anymore so instead i use a Game called Block Blast which is kind of similar..But not close to the memories of the real thing!
I remember when Pong first came out. My brother and I used to go to the store in town after school when we were walking home and play Pong on a little black and white tv in the store.
Then, when I was a teen, I loved Space Invaders.
I’ve never been a huge video game fan though, although my husband and I used to play a fair bit of Crash Bandicoot.
Now, I’m really showing my age
Whack-Nanci is cute and entertaining! Had my son to play it, he said that he has fast hands because of the online games he plays LOL
Mine has to be Snake on my Nokia 3210! We spent hours trying to beat the high score, and it felt like such an achievement every time the snake got longer. The best part was playing with my siblings. There are four of us, so we had to take turns using the same phone. Sometimes we’d end up arguing because one person would survive for so long and everyone else was getting impatient waiting for their turn. Looking back now, those little fights are some of my favorite childhood memories.
Part 2: Childhood Game Memory
I chose Tetris because it holds a lot of special memories for me. One of the reasons is that it reminds me of the time I spent playing with my close friend, who has sadly passed away. After our classes, whenever we needed to do research for our assignments, we would always find time to play a few rounds of Tetris together before getting back to our work. Those moments became some of my happiest memories with my friend.
Tetris also reminds me of the times I played with my cousins. We would enjoy challenging each other, laughing, and spending quality time together. It even brings back memories of the old Facebook days, when playing games on the platform was a fun part of everyday life.
Aside from the memories it brings, I like Tetris because it challenges my mind. The game requires quick thinking, concentration, and problem-solving skills. It helps improve my focus, decision-making, and hand-eye coordination while keeping me entertained. For me, Tetris is more than just a game—it is a collection of meaningful memories, a reminder of the people I shared those moments with, and a fun way to keep my brain active.
Tetris!!! Sooo many hours playing this game!! My brothers and I would always challenge each other in this game on our Nintendo lol. We would fight to get it on and try to play. Then whoever had the lowest scoring game would be ridiculed for the next few hours lol. Ahhh siblings.

I grew up loving video games. I started with Atari, then spent countless hours on Game & Watch (Donkey Kong, Octopus, and Chef were my favorites). Later on, it became a bonding activity with my son (and sometimes my daughter, too). We would play Paper Mario and Super Smash Bros. Melee (among others) on the GameCube… I’d also play Super Mario, Power Rangers, Cooking Mama on PSP…
But if I had to pick one that has stayed with me, though, it’d be Pikmin. It’s been my favorite for years, and I still play it today, but not as often as I used to.
