My unforgettable school days memory was when my college batch went for a field trip to Metro Manila. I live in a small town so going to the big city, we need to ride a ship for 1 night to reach there. It was an epic experience.

This game looks like a lot of fun. Growing up and to this day board games are a big part of family life. I have introduced this to grandchildren as well!

Oh my unsure if I should tell this but I will. Friends since 6th grade which is about 11 years old? anyways, we were in high school so at least 16 years old. and we decided to go to McDonalds and so we snuck out. McDonalds was a big place to go during or after school. The drive around the school was one direction and kind of U shaped with the parking lot at bottom of U.

When returning, we noticed one of the Nuns outside, so being smart, we went in the other way and kind of backed in.

Did not work and we were busted and got detention. We talked about that day forever!

It was a day when we were a bit naughty but we still had fun! My 50th reunion was this year. Time flies!

@Robotime my favorite memory was my sixth grade fields trip! We went to the Denver Museum of Natural History. It had been an event my friends and I had been looking forward to for such a long time. We all gathered on the bus together, got in our groups at the museum and were given a free pass to roam the halls with one chaperone per 10 kids. It was such fun! But what makes it memorable was , I had my first real kiss in a darkened room in the hall of gemstones!

Heather was her name and I was deeply smitten at that age. The time was right, my friends watched out for the nosy adults and we slipped away undetected! It was sloppy, uncomfortable and the most magical experience ever

This kit looks so cool! One of my favorite school day memories is when me and some of my friends went to the beach together with our families and we played the Game of Life and Monopoly in the Airbnb we rented. It was so much fun!

Oh this is AMAZING not only do we get to enjoy building it BUT we can play with our families afterwards. My favorite kinds of activities together to enjoy with my family.

My favorite memory is from middle school where we had a big tree just on the end of our school and we would all collect fallen flowers and make flower crowns and decorate crafts with it and gift it to each other. It was such a simple yet wholesome moment.

That is a wonderful kit, I love boardgames and building so this is a super combination.

When I was in second class junior school, 7 years old, I was much younger than all the other students (very late birthday in the schoolyear) so I was always the one the others would pick on. Also the teacher was taking it out on me, now you would call this pegagogical bullying I guess. And then one day in 1970 there was a new boy coming into our class. Just like me, he was a ginger, but he was a really really ginger. And he was tall, mince and ofcourse very light on skin. So the class had a second victim, and the worse part, so did the teacher, like he did with me, only for my friend he was even worse. Even making a complete fool out of him in front of the class

We did find support with each other and we became friends. Not like ‘every day doing things together’ but we knew where to find each other.

When we did our First Communion we were ‘pairing’ in the church. This is us at the photo, in the circles (btw, the man in the circle behind was my dad), this was on 2nd May 1971.

And this is us, last May in Paris. (my husband and his wife are ‘blurred out’)

We are still friends, now already more than 55 years. We still visit each other, we go to them in the Netherlands or they come to us in France for a couple of days.

Actually they were with us last weekend, and we did play a board game together, a game called ‘Baantjer’ whereby you have to solve murders. It’s a bit of a mix between Cluedo and Monopoly.
Unfortunately we didn’t take pictures then, too busy trying to defeat each other .

So for me this friendship is a really precious one, we’ve had our ups and downs, periods where contact were less due to life-circumstances, we had our little collisions ofcourse, but we always found each other again.

In 1996 we had a reunion of our primary school and we met there, he lived in a different city. All our old classmates thought we would be married to each other, they were really surprised we never did because we were always together. They always thought that we would make a couple when growing up.

But no, we never did, we never even had (tried) another relationship than our friendship.
Our partners in life might have changed, circumstances might have changed, houses might have changed, but our friendship always stayed.

That’s for me a true and precious friendship and I would love to win this boardgame to build and play with him and our partners next time he visits me. And I promise, I will take pictures when we do!

(ps, we still hate our teacher deeply, all these years later, this man has given us real trauma’s you never ever forget in your life .)

I will always remember the trip to Malta with my best friends after graduation. We were so happy to be all together for a week after Covid and before leaving to continue our adventures in different schools& uni .
This trip was magical and we still talk about it ! And yes, I still remember a lotttt of nights before dinner playing UNO and cards !

We tried to organise a surprise birthday for one of us, with all of the friend group. That was about 20 persons, to try to figure out a compatible weekend for, send invite, gather money for the giant gift, plan the sleeping in the house we’d rent for the event down in a beautiful part of the countryside etc etc…
Between the last minutes changes to train tickets, the tracking info for the gift, and having to keep her in the dark, it was quite the epic stressful saga. But her face when she came into the house and saw everyone, not expecting it? Worth every minute of hard work and preparations!

Sharing one of my favourite memories from when I was young! This is me (on the bass guitar) playing with my best friend on stage for a organised event in 2000!

My best friend and I shared many hours together playing music, performing, and dancing around for friends and family, playing board games, and building all sorts of random creations!

Now as a nearly 40 year old, I spend my time with my partner while the kids are sleeping, playing card games, escape rooms and building Robotime models, as well as challenging him to pinball games on the ROKR pinball!

My favorite school memory is without a doubt our class trip to Samoëns in 7th grade, over 9 years ago! Our PE teacher organized this trip to introduce us to new outdoor sports, and it turned into an unforgettable adventure.

It all started as soon as we arrived at the center: since my group of 8 friends was considered the ‘most responsible and well-behaved,’ we were assigned a separate room in a small cabin away from the main building with 8 bunk beds. We were so proud to have our own headquarters! One day, after taking long hot showers one after another, opening the bathroom door released so much trapped steam that it set off the smoke detector… We laughed so hard, a moment we’ll never forget!

The days were incredibly intense. I still remember the rafting sessions where the water was freezing: as soon as someone fell in, we had to quickly fish them out. We also loved jumping in and just letting the current carry us down the river. There was mountain biking on muddy trails (with some memorable falls into the puddles!), a big treasure hunt, and memorable evenings.

But the highlight of the trip was the trek. We hiked up to spend the night in a mountain refuge—no hot water this time! Along the way, our PE teacher stopped to have us taste edible flowers he found along the path. We ended the day exhausted, enjoying a wonderful cool evening together, so happy to be there.

This contest brings back such great memories from those precious childhood moments!
