🕹️ Whimsical Thursday #19 | Press Start on Childhood Memories

This brought back nostalgia I loved these games. Honestly my childhood was filled with all kinds of games but let me be real, I was and am still a big fan of cooking games, there’s something about it that’s so relaxing  very different from real life cooking

That was such a fun game! I love whack a mole!

My favorite video game growing up was definitely Animal Crossing :light_blue_heart: I spent countless hours decorating my little house, paying off Tom Nook (even though it felt like that loan never ended :joy:), fishing, catching bugs and talking to all of my adorable villagers. I remember getting so excited whenever there was a special event or a new neighbor moved into town. It was such a cozy escape after school and honestly sparked my love for creating tiny, detailed worlds. Looking back, I think that’s one of the reasons I enjoy building miniature kits so much today. They give me that same peaceful, creative feeling. Animal Crossing will always have a special place in my heart:herb::sparkles:Did anyone else spend way too many hours on Animal Crossing?

Omg I used to love cooking games!! I played cooking Mamma on my DS a lot :joy::sweat_smile:

Not going to share my screenshot, I got 5. Eye hand coordination is not what it used to be, this is why my xbox sits idle these days. My son would come over and help when I got stuck but he’s stationed overseas.

And I was deep into my teen years when pong became a thing so there were not really any games in my childhood. I was too busy playing outside until the streetlights came on and drinking out of the hose

My favorite childhood game was candyland.

Me and my sisters used to really love playing games on our Wii console together such as Wii Fit, Wii Games, Lego Star Wars, and Lego Harry Potter. We also spend a lot of time playing games such as Overcooked, Tricky Towers, and Mario Kart on our Nintendo Switch. I also like playing Breath of the Wild on my own.

Yaaay. I got 41 points! I think using the mouse made it harder for me, because I’m sure I would have been faster on my phone hahah

From the classic games mentioned, I played a lot of Solitaire, Tetris, Snake, and that old computer pinball game that was absolutely fabulous. But as a child I also played a lot of The Sims, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and basically every Game Boy game I could get my hands on. Honestly, I never really stopped playing video games.
