Whimsical Thursday 02
If your building process were a meme… what would it be?
Sometimes building a kit feels like a smooth and relaxing journey…
Sometimes it’s more like “Wait… why do I have three extra pieces?”
So this week’s challenge is:
Describe your building mood using a meme!
Tell us:
Which meme perfectly represents your building experience?
Is it the focused genius, the confused builder, or the “I stayed up too late but it was worth it” mood?
What moment during the build does that meme represent?
My building experience meme is Hide the Pain Harold — and if you know, you know.
Harold is smiling. Harold looks totally fine. Harold is absolutely not fine.
That is me at the end of every single build when I pick up the last piece off my lap table and realize… it didn’t go anywhere. My Baking Kitchen DG172 is done. It looks beautiful. And yet here we are, me and this one mysterious little piece, just staring at each other.
Am I confused? Yes. Am I going to smile and act like everything is completely normal? Also yes.
That “I have no idea what this piece was for but the build looks great so I’m just going to move on with my life” energy? That’s Harold. That’s me. That’s us.
Honestly, I think it’s just the kit’s way of giving me a little souvenir. At least that’s what I’m telling myself.
LOL I keep my acrylic markers all numbered and lined up neatly. When I select the color and think I may use again, I do set to the side. Once done, back in order!
