My favorite time for crafting is the late afternoon or evening. After a busy day, being able to slow down and assemble models makes me feel relaxed. Before starting, I’ll brew a pot of tea. I enjoy drinking tea while listening to music. It’s an indescribable feeling of peace.

Building for me is always part of a relaxing moment

i always build during the day time, sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon, it depends on when i find the time, also the weather effects if i am building or not, for the moment it is getting to hot again and like a few weeks ago, so that makes it difficult gluing, i also depends on my mood, i have a lot of hobbies so sometimes i feel like doing something else, i like the peace and quiet when i build and i have my own space where i build and i can just it on my crafting table when i stop building, for me building is pure relaxation or forget about the world around me for a while, not always easy at the moment because i have a lot going on and it is a 2 month summer school holiday but i manage to steal a few building moments now and then

I usually build in the morning because of the light that comes into the apartment, but I really like building at any time!

I do enjoy building most on two particular moments.

When I’m coming home after a busy day at work. Building helps me unwind and relax before going to bed. I really need to shut my mind off and that works best with a nice kit in front of me.

The other time is a cozy afternoon with some music in the background and a drink right within reach. I can slowly drift away, head empty, just focusing on the kit and the instructions. And in such moments I can get lost in time that much that I forget when it is time to eat :sweat_smile:.

I love to craft late at night, when the house is quiet and everyone is asleep. It’s lovely! Sometimes I will put out a plate of cookies and tea for myself. I really do love burning the midnight oil and crafting deep into the night. Of course, at some point I am too tired to do it well! That’s when it’s time to go to bed!

My favorite time for crafting is at night after my kids are tucked in bed. It’s my moment to relax and enjoy building. :heart:

My ideal time for crafting is at night, when the kids are already asleep. I usually turn on the TV and watch my favorite series or a new movie, though I’m only half-focused because I’m 1000% immersed in my build. If I really love the kit, I often find myself staying up until the wee hours of the morning just to finish it.

Over time, this has also become a bonding moment with my husband. He stays beside me while I build, either playing video games or fully focused on the movie we’re watching. He jokingly says he’s happy because I’m so busy building that I hardly disturb him, except, when I need his help fixing wires and lights for my kit. :sweat_smile:

My cozy crafting moments happen in the evening when there is warm sunlight and I can see the trees and garden from my window. I sit near the window and craft together with my sister, since we both have enjoyed crafting together since little.

We both have lots of time in the evening so it’s just us and a relaxing free time where we can truly feel cozy.

When I have a day off work, I wait until just after lunch time. If I’m home on my own, I put one of my favourite tv shows on and settle down to build.
At other times, I build in the evenings after work while my husband is beside me.
Building is my relax time.

My perfect moment occurs when the weight of the world gets too heavy during the day or the week and I can escape for a while this can be after a long day or during the weekend when household duties have been completed
I lock myself up in my office, grab my thermos of water , play some soft music, and get to create. There are no deadlines there is no pressure. There is no grand scheme. Only the focus of a bookshelf being done, or a foundation of a room.. the smell of painted wood and acrylic markers. The feel of a pair of tweezers and stickers in my hand. The accuracy of my craft knife as it cuts precisely where I guide it .

If I complete a page, wonderful! If I don’t fantastic! There is no expectations! And that is the beauty of my crafting time. I go by my rules which are none. I go by my time frame, which doesn’t exist.

This allows me to create a small world of peace and an opportunity to live in a world ( if even for a short time) that is of my own doing This is my perfect crafting moment!

Quiet nights are my favorite time to build. Once the world goes quiet, I put on my headphones and lose myself in my favorite IV of Spades playlist, mixed with some Anne Murray and The Carpenters songs. It’s my perfect escape to release mental fatigue and it’s the one part of my day I always look forward to.

Totally agree. Natural morning light makes crafting so much better, but it’s really hard to resist building at any time of the day.

Crafting after a busy workday is honestly the best way to turn your brain off and unwind.
