what a beautiful memory piece!
My grandparents use to weave these small squares. Grandpa made the squares and grandma sewed them together and crotcheted the end to make a blanket.
Years and years ago, like 1970’s, I wove squares with grandpa. I still have that blanket, best one ever, and I will remember until I cannot remember any longer!

You’re welcome. That’s one of the disadvantages of markers but the colors are stronger even for one apply only unlike acrylic paints. You should give acrylic paints a try next time.

I’ve tried the diamond painting before though a short period of time only. It’s really relaxing to put each bead to its certain numbers and kind of addicting. 
It requires a lot of patience but the finished product is all worth it and it’s very pretty to display it in your house. I’m looking forward in seeing yours when it’s done.

Your drawings are beautiful as always. I love the color purple on the frames. It’s a unique combination of colors for me. Maybe I should give acrylic markers a go next time. I’m really tempted to buy one since I always see good reviews in the community.
@serenebliss_23 yes did it build from scratch, it was a DIY kit 6 wooden boards, tiles, varnish and grout

I admire your patience here. Hands down. I’m bad on sewing and have a short temper so I really admire those people who can stitch very well. 
It’s very beautiful and I love it that you’re doing it at your own pace even if it takes you years to finish it.

Oh it’s like a kit that you need to assemble? Or did you buy the materials and customize them on your own? It’s really great. You and your husband have talents in making awesome furnitures.
