Today I’m going to show you a really special build.
I had the amazing opportunity to receive the Furry Friend’s Home, a lovely Super Creator kit, before its official launch, as an exclusive benefit for Robotime brand ambassadors. It’s such a treat to be able to experience and build a kit ahead of time, and I was really excited to dive into this one. (As you can see, Alvin too! heheh)
This isn’t my first Super Creator kit, so by now I’m quite familiar with how they’re built. These kits are fully made of plastic, with pieces that fit together perfectly, and they’re always packed with details. In this case, the theme makes it even more adorable, and the fact that it includes little furry animals just takes it to another level (although I may have added a few extras from my own stash
).
As always, the instructions are clear, very visual, and easy to follow. What I loved the most about this kit are the stickers and the food boxes with animal photos. They add such a cute and realistic touch. And of course, the tiny pets included in the kit are just too adorable!
I made a few small changes to the layout here and there, but nothing major, just enough to make it feel a bit more “mine.”
In terms of difficulty, the wiring was probably the trickiest part. You need to thread it through different holes and twist it around, which felt a bit odd to me (very personal opinion).
Also, I hate the dots that always come with the Super Creator (and others) kits
. They’re super easy to use and look great once placed, but those little red plastic bits stick to everything!!! Every time I use them, I end up finding them all over the house instead of in the trash even few weeks later!
.
Aaaand, here it is the final result:
Want to know what little changes I add? Take a look at this final result, with my little extras. Can you spot them?
This kit was such a joy to build, and I absolutely loved the experience. Thank you @Robotime for this incredible opportunity
.
