🥰 [Rolife - Happiness] First Day Building Kiki’s Magic Emporium!

I finally started building Kiki’s Magic Emporium today, and I’m so excited!
For now, I’ve begun with these furniture pieces, and it already felt in love with tis kit.

Alvin is always by my side when I’m building kits, but he rarely makes an appearance. Here he is, just as he always is — waiting for me to pet him with one hand while I build with the other.

I’m really enjoying that I have to use plenty of super glue again (:joy:) and not everything is click-together. It’s been a while since I used so much of it, and, for me, it feels like proper crafting again!

This time, I only spent a little while assembling the furniture and a lot more time searching for and preparing images and the background to include in the kit, since I noticed it’s a paper that needs to be glued on .

As I look through the pieces, I’m already getting ideas about little additions I want to make. For example, I’m thinking of adding lots of artificial moss to bring more green into the scene, even inside the shop, to give it a more enchanted, witchy forest feeling.

I also want to make tiny glowing magic potions with glitter, and I’ll share the process once I start making them. For now, I’ll focus on building the furniture and then I’ll start adding custom details step by step.

Can’t wait to see this magical little world come to life!
If anyone has customised this kit before, I’d love to hear your ideas too.

Loving your ideas already! The little mossy stuff (quite stringy) in Emily’s Flower Shop would be perfect for this…but I’m sure you must have lots of stuff leftover from previous builds. Have fun with it. Looking forward to seeing all of your ideas come to life.

Yesss, I have lots of leftovers from other kits, but a friend gave me some artificial moss that I think will add a nice touch. She got it pretty cheap on Amazon, in case that helps you @Nita_Davis

For now, I think it’s more like the older kits, the kind where you have to glue the paper onto the walls, and the pieces don’t come pre-painted, you know?

You may have misunderstood @Wenbare . This "moss’ was absolutely perfect. It didn’t fall apart and didn’t need much glue at all. Hard to describe…but I saved it all for future builds. I don’t realy foresee any more “plant builds” in my future…but you never know. That ‘stash box’ just grows and grows…LOL!

Ahhhhh, now I get it!! Yesss, sorry @Nita_Davis, I read your message wrong. It’s 10 p.m. here, I had a full-day field trip with the kids today, and I’m exhausted.

And that’s so true. My stash box, for example, it’s really big :see_no_evil_monkey:

He’s truly adorable :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Always following me wherever I go around the house, asking for love and treats — he’s been doing it for 16 years, hehe.
