I feel incredibly lucky to have been given the opportunity, as a Rolife Brand Ambassador, to build the new Rolife Nostalgic Corner Shop before its official release—and it was such a rewarding experience!
This is definitely a build to savor. It took me several evenings to complete because of all the wonderful little details. From folding tiny Japanese snack boxes and hand-wrapping some of the hanging treats to assembling every little corner, it was both relaxing and satisfying.
What really won me over were the nostalgic touches: the retro telephone, electric fan, gachapon machine, magazine rack, and even the tear-off paper calendar on the wall. Every detail made the shop feel like stepping back in time. I also love the sliding doors that open and close just like a real neighborhood store—they add so much life to the finished piece.
If you’re looking for a miniature kit that will keep you happily occupied for hours, this is one I highly recommend. It’s a longer build, but every minute is absolutely worth it.
This one does have some really cool features. I think my favorite is the little box in the Middle with the glass tops and the sliding glass door. You did a great job in building and reviewing. Thanks so much for sharing
@Jill_Francisco Wonderful review, Jill! The Corner Shop has to be one of the most nostalgic builds out there—the mini details are just magic. What was your favorite part to assemble? It looks fantastic

What a fantastic review! You can really feel how much care went into every part of this build. The nostalgic details like the retro telephone, gachapon machine, and tear-off calendar give the shop so much personality, and the sliding doors are such a clever feature. It sounds like the perfect kit to slow down and enjoy, one tiny detail at a time. Thank you for sharing your experience, and congratulations on getting the opportunity to build and showcase it before its official release!
Thank you @Vinay My favorite part is definitely cutting those cute little fruits and candies and putting them inside baggies. I felt like I was the shop keeper
