Oh my goodness I was so lucky to be able to trial this beautiful kit. It has to be one of my all time favourite kits to build. As it was a trial I decided not to do my usual customisation, but honestly I don’t know what I would have changed anyway, it is just perfect.

I felt like it was complex enough to be a challenge and didn’t incorporate too much plastic. Personally I love more complex wood and paper models the best.

The details on this kit are just superb. All the little packaging and I love the little tent cards that went into the shelves, they slid in perfectly and just made my heart sing. This one had just the right vibe, there was nothing that felt like it shouldn’t be there.

I love the soft touch light switch too, it works amazingly.

The sliding doors were the perfect touch. For anyone giving it a go I just added a bit of wax (good old birthday candle!) to help it slide smoother.

If I’m being picky the only thing I would have liked is that the food packets closed at the sides instead of seeing the foam and I would probably also glue the gumball machine together just to make it a little more sturdy. But really that is all I would change.

I would love if @Robotime made this part of a street scene, that would be the only thing that could make this better lol!

Overall though it is such a beautiful kit, I feel like I could look at it all day. Writing this I just want to make it again!

What a wonderful review! You can really tell how much you enjoyed this build. I love that it struck the perfect balance between being challenging and enjoyable, and it’s great to hear how much you appreciated all the thoughtful little details. The sliding doors and touch light switch sound like fantastic features, and your tip about using a birthday candle for the runners is a great one. I completely agree that this would make an amazing addition to a larger street scene. Congratulations on getting to trial such a beautiful kit, and thank you for sharing such an honest review!

It drove me nuts lol @Sasa, I tried everything to get it to stick . If it wasn’t a trial I might have made my own packaging. I’m not going to pull it apart now though, and honestly I don’t really notice it now it’s done.

Hi @Vinay, I’m a Brand Ambassador and @Robotime do trial kits from time to time to review and test new products before they are launched. It is an awesome lovely perk for sure!

Thank you @Grey74 that is so lovely of you to say  x

Great review @Jo_Zanella.
I agree about the packets not sealing. I did glue the gum ball machine though.
It was quite an enjoyable build.
