After two days, it’s time to build the gift factory again!
As you can see, the first sections already have a lot of small details. The pre-painted wood makes painting these small details difficult, as the paint doesn’t adhere well. I first apply a white base coat so I can paint it properly. This does create a slight color difference, but it matches the wooden Western door well and gives it an antique look.
It’s great to add some personal color to it. I was originally going to color it but the kit has so many colors that I had second thoughts. Now I regret not adding color to them. Your idea is great.
I dont know yet how i going to paint all the edges, but i have a lot of acrylic markers, so i hope i can find a color what is almost the same ![]()
This is going to be so amazing. I know you will make it perfect!
Hopefully i’m done before Christmas ![]()
Love your attention to detail @Liset
i look forward to seeing more updates!
It would be amazing. Looking forward to your updates on this.
Thank you @Nectarines
i will post updates if i have news ![]()
This build takes a lot of time with all the little details
I think I’ll be busy with this build for the next few weeks
Enjoy @Liset . I actually like complex kits because I like to challenge myself
Thank you @Tricia12 i really enjoy this build! I like also to have a challenge on a build. Till now everything is going perfect ![]()
After reading all about gears and what not, I was a little intimidated to even think about this one. Seeing the walls as you put the mechanics in is really helping to aleviate fears
Till now it is not difficult. The instructions are very clear. Follow the instructions, you can do this
if you sand and wax the gears properly you won’t have any problems

That sounds fantastic! I love how you turned that little challenge with the paint into a creative touch — the antique look must make it even more charming. Can’t wait to see how the rest of the factory turns out!
Thank you @Wenbare soon i will make a new update ![]()
