Coming home to a great mail day. My parcel has finally arrived. My April Leaderboard Prize is finally here. I am looking forward to collect all the kit with the rides to make My own amusement park. How nice would it be aye. 
I would like to paint this kit when I eventually get to it. What are your suggestions of colours?
I can’t wait to see this one. I have never done it before. I only did the Romantic Carousel. I’m sure the colors you choose will be fabulous!

You are correct. The Romantic Carousel I did was raw. I do know that @Liset painted hers. Maybe some of her colors will inspire you. @NoodleSalad did an amazing job on hers as well.

Congratulations on a lovely pick for your prize. It truly is a gorgeous one. I’m not sure in colour choices for it though. I like the original colours myself but after seeing the customisation in black and gold being done, I’m not so sure now.
Congratulations! This kit feels so nostalgic and reminds me of when I used to ride carousels all the time. I don’t usually paint my builds so I don’t really have any suggestions. I’m sure whatever colors you choose will look very nice.
You’re very welcome. I know she said the plastic-like pieces were very hard to paint. Maybe just leaves those alone and make your other colors, (if any) go with them.
I always enjoyed colouring. So I’m planing to give this a bit of touch up.
There are a lot of examples out there to customize. The good thing is this kit lends itself to almost any kind of color scheme you want! It can also do well with embellishments like jewels and beads.

This kit indeed very nice and because they are already coloured so I’m guessing ị wouldn’t need to paint much. I wouldn’t change the whole thing because I kinda like the original colours too.
This one is high up on my wishlist as well! Good choice

I think it would be best if there would some added gold and white. Looks like one of the Disney rides.
