UK Leicester - Robotime Meetup 02 - Recap

Our meetup in UK Leicester on the 4^th April was a big success, we did start off a bit bumpy with the delay in setting up but a lot of people helped with that so we were able to get to know each other sooner

Once most people arrived, we did a short introduction to Robotime and the event plan, I then helped in distributing the kits, food and drinks

Majority of the people that came were beginners and just wanted to try it out, they ended up really enjoying it and were even asking when the next event will be held.

I also did try to be as helpful as possible with gluing some broken pieces and guiding some people through the steps.

The minigame for the Nanci doll was also very competitive with two different groups competing for the blind bag

Everyone was having such a nice and comfortable time that the 3hours went by so fast, we even discussed extending the session by 1 hour, but we were unfortunately unsuccessful.

The revies and showcase to win a Nanci blind bag was also tempting that several people posted picture, videos and even edited compilations on Instagram and the Robotime Community Forum

Overall, although there were some hiccups along the way, I feel that everyone enjoyed it a lot and would gladly share this experience with their friends and family

I have also recorded and documented the whole process from preparation - Event/Meetup - Reflection/Future improvement, on my YouTube channel which I plan on posting in the next couple of days.

one was a timed trivia game , the other was ball passing without flinching
