Sometimes being a miniature and Robotime enthusiast in Norway feels a little lonely. There aren’t many people around me who know about this hobby, and I would absolutely love to see a bigger community here someday.
So I decided to do something a little fun. 
Last Saturday, I went to Kreatima in Oslo, an art store owned by Panduro. As far as I know, Panduro are the only physical store in Norway that regularly carries Robotime kits. Their selection isn’t huge, but they have enough for me to get my miniature fix! 
I had just bought the Garden House Book Nook, and instead of taking it straight home, I brought it with me to Kreatima. Kreatima is a wonderful place for artists and creative
people. The store itself has a simple, practical atmosphere where the focus is really on the materials, tools and creativity. It’s simple, maybe a bit messy, but It’s absolutely unique and very down to earth.
They have tables and chairs that are normally used for courses and workshops, so I asked if I could sit there for a while and build. I set up my kit, opened the instructions and simply started crafting – right there in the store.
People were curious. Customers stopped to look, and several people asked me what I was making and what it was. It was really fun to be able to tell them about Robotime and show them what these kits are actually like. I wish I could post pictures of that, but because of respect of privacy I won’t publish that online without their consent. 
So, completely unintentionally, I ended up doing a little bit of advertising for both Robotime, Panduro and Kreatima. 
I know this is just one small thing, but I really want more people in Norway to discover this hobby. I would love to find other Norwegian builders, share ideas, inspire each other and hopefully create a little community here.
For now, I’ll just keep building… and spreading the miniature obsession wherever I go.
Maybe this was the beginning of my little mission to put Robotime on the map in Norway.
