Time to Start My Cuckoo Clock!

It’s finally time to start one that has been at the very top of my list! :heart_eyes::mantelpiece_clock: I’m so happy to be adding the ROKR Cuckoo Clock (LC901C) to my collection, and I honestly couldn’t wait much longer to open the box and get started.

My first impression? WOW! :star_struck: The design is absolutely gorgeous, with so manyintricate details, gears, little decorations, and that beautiful whimsical clock face. The finished build looks like it’s going to be such a stunning centerpiece.And of course, knowing that it’s a mechanical DIY build with an automatic hourly chime makes me even more excited to see how everything works once it’s assembled!

I’m about to start building, so wish me luck! :joy: I have a feeling this one is going to be quite an adventure, but I’m already loving it. :heart:

Have you built the Cuckoo Clock before? Any tips I should know before I begin? :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

YAY! I am so excited for you to experience this one. It has been a while since I did this one…but I do recall struggling a bit with installling the little light bulb near the roof. Pay close attention to instrctions. Also when installing the roof pieces to the front eaves (V shaped piece) I glued them as I went…because it was hard to keep them to either while assembling. I wish you well.

This my favorite of all time!
@Nita_Davis is right. Watch the placement of the wires, and the roof can be tricky. Follow the directions slowly and carefully.

When it’s time to set the chime, @Martins_Assembly_H has a video on how to set it. Here is the link.

I haven’t built this one yet, but my sister who has only built the airplaine tower to date is very interested in this. Looking forward to how it goes for you.
