Here’s my submission for the Halloween & Thanksgiving Challenge.
This one is also my first customization! I still have much to learn from my fellow creators. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Thanksgiving morning arrived with golden leaves drifting past the windows, the smell of cinnamon filling the air, and a turkey roasting happily in the oven. The room was dressed with autumn flowers, with a magnificent pumpkin centerpiece.
It was the coziest Thanksgiving anyone could imagine.
Unfortunately, the pumpkin had other plans.
At precisely 6:06 p.m., two glowing yellow eyes appeared with a suspiciously mischievous grin.
“FINALLY!” it growled. “After weeks of sitting here looking decorative, TODAY I SHALL RULE!”
With a wicked wiggle, the evil pumpkin sprang to life and claimed the rocking chair! It flipped the wicker basket over and ordered the Thanksgiving turkey to dance the Turkey Dance on it!
Gobble, Gobble, WIGGLE, WIGGLE!
The turkey danced harder, entertaining the pumpkin while the family’s brave little dachshund, Baloo, charged into battle.
Though tiny in size, Baloo had the heart of a mighty warrior. He barked furiously, and sank his teeth into the pumpkin’s wicked stem.
“BAD PUMPKIN! NOBODY MESSES WITH THANKSGIVING!”
Peace returned; and Baloo was rewarded with the biggest turkey drumstick he had ever seen.
That night, Baloo curled up on his favorite blanket, dreaming of his heroic adventure.
Everything was peaceful.
Everything was cozy.
Until midnight.
“Christmas,” the pumpkin whispered with a wicked grin. “You’re next.”
