My October leaderboard prize arrived today :heart_eyes: I chose the cuckoo clock. Thank you so much to Robotime for this amazing prize.

I was thinking of gifting it to my Mother in law for her birthday but I don’t know if she will take to the Alice in wonderland theme.

I then saw another clock, the Romantic Notes wall clock and I think this one would be a hit! Has anyone built the Romantic notes clock? She hasn’t build any of these before so she might not want something too complex to begin with.

Is there another clock you would recommend? She likes clocks haha :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: and she used to do puzzles a lot too so I think she will enjoy building one.

I haven’t built any of the clock kits yet, but honestly, I’m sure she’ll love whatever you choose , gifts from the heart always mean so much more. :sparkling_heart:
If the Romantic Notes wall clock feels a bit too complex for her, the Cuckoo Clock might be the perfect choice. Or even better, you could build it together as a little bonding moment!

I think the Romantic notes looks a little easier than the cuckoo clock sounds like it is but looks can be deceiving haha maybe it is harder :sweat_smile:

This would make a gorgeous gift assembled or not.

It would probably be smart to start her with a smaller ROKR. Maybe give her a flower set to see how she responds.

I don’t know of any smaller clocks.

I haven’t built any of the clocks but I love this one! I do think the romantic notes might suit your mother in law better if she’s not that into fantasy themes. :blush:

That’s exactly what I’m thinking, but now I’m thinking I might buikd it for her and gift it to her build and give her a flower to build herself haha then I get to build it too :rofl::raising_hands:

I got the cuckoo clock and built. I honestly had not idea it was “Alice” themed. As I was building I saw the hearts and spades and started to think. Otherwise I would have no clue and would enjoy as a cuckoo clock!

I have all three clocks that you mentioned. I can’t get my pendulum to swing properly on the romantic notes wall clock but it is a beautiful model. It has to do with the weight that you put into the little thing that makes it move. That’s okay though because it keeps perfect time as the watch face is actually battery operated. The Zodiac clock is also battery operated and works perfectly. It’s also a beautiful build. I love everything about the cuckoo clock. I hope you enjoy them all

Dont know about the clocks. I would recommend alice. Most nooks are doable for beginners

Me too, I don’t really want to gift it to her :rofl: but I do also. That’s why I might just buy the Romantic notes clock instead for her haha

Exciting! I think I will want to do this after the hot air balloon too! Have you posted your airplane? I haven’t gone through the new posts yet. I will hopefully find it soon! :star_struck:
