Susnhine town nearly finished

Spend about 4 hours on sunshine town. Was hoping to finish it today but al the painting made it impossible. 2 more page’s to go. Want to finish tomorrow. Need to start the new one for my colleague. Only have a month to finish it before he leaves

You’re making great progress! Sunshine Town has quite a bit of painting, so taking your time is definitely worth it. I’m sure your colleague will love the next one too!

Looking great! This why I go all over the place. I am never sitting around waiting for paint to dry…LOL! I bet you will be happy when it’s done. I am SO happy to be done with Emily’s Flower shop. That was just too many plants to deal with.

I have a question on book nooks - can you open them like a book when it’s finished?

Yes i will be pleased when it’s done. The one for my colleague has a lot of tiny things to glue and a lot of wire bending so i need all the time i can get.

I hope so. I side is not fitting in tightly. I hope that will change when i click all the wall together.

No you can only look at them from the front. They are made to be put between your books as support. I know a other brand has some that open on 1 side. There from cutebee.

@Jerry_Boswijk This was my first ever kit and that started it all! I was like omg these floors are driving me nuts!

But as we crafters do, we persevere! I am so glad you finished it. If i knew what i know now, I would’ve used either a black, brown or green shrink tube for the light on the left side of the kit. The yellow was meh for me… maybe I will use a permanent marker to change it!

Yeah i had the same. I hated the yellow. I also had to put like 4 layers of paint to get the edges to cover well. Arcade dating was a better quality book nook kit.
