Starting September by sharing a quick little (non-Rolife) build I finished last night, before I get back to the Slow Life Café for its final finishing touches. 
After dinner, I decided to work on this tiny kit while my daughter was busy building the Olivia Rodrigo LEGO kit I gave her for her birthday—which, by the way, she absolutely loves. 
It turned out to be a cute little side project—tiny and quick enough to finish in no time. Although “tiny” doesn’t necessarily mean “easy on the fingers.” 
My fingers definitely felt it by the end!
Olivia Rodrigo for scale. She happened to be sitting on the table while my daughter was building her LEGO set, so naturally, she had to make a cameo in my photos. 
I forgot to buy batteries to test the light.
One thing I really liked about this kit was that some of the pieces were printed on both sides, which made such a difference. Even from a short distance, they look surprisingly realistic instead of just looking like flat printed pieces. It’s such a small detail, but I thought it was a really nice touch. Unfortunately, my photos don’t quite capture how good it actually looks in person. I’m definitely not winning any miniature photography awards anytime soon.
And, as expected, I managed to break one piece. Thankfully, it was an easy fix with a bit of glue, so no miniature disaster this time. 
Sometimes a quick little build is exactly what you need before diving back into a bigger project.

Now that this one’s done, it’s time to get back to Café Chronicles and work on those last little details.
