I just wanted to share this project I began a few days ago while customizing my treasure tray! I finally completed it while waiting for the paint on my tray to dry. This build was such a great way to de-stress and relax.
It’s not a Rolife kit so the material quality isn’t quite on the same level, but design-wise? I’d say it can definitely shine with Rolife! The details on this kit are just gorgeous. It’s called the Corner Coffee Shop. It’s a cute little coffee shop with an attached library that actually swings open so you can see inside.
It’s definitely not perfect but I had so much fun building this even if it got challenging at times because of the wood quality. My little hammer definitely put in a lot of work on this one though I managed to sand down a few tricky parts too.
In the meantime, I just finished sketching out my design for the treasure tray! It has been ages since I last picked up a real pencil.. I’ve gotten so used to using a digital pen. Can’t wait to start painting this even though I’m a bit nervous… I’m definitely not a traditional painter and feel way more comfortable with digital art, but I really hope I can bring what I’m envisioning to life.
Such a cozy coffee shop! Love the tiny Starry Night painting and the bookshelf. Your sketch for the treasure tray looks so promising too—can’t wait to see it finished, @micromagic16
Thank you! I really enjoyed setting up all those tiny pieces inside especially the wall and shelf details. What I particularly did not like setting up were the exterior lol.. Glad you liked the treasure tray too
Aww it looks adorable! Coffee shops are always so cozy and this kit is definitely super cozy! You did a great job I’m also super excited to see your treasure tray!!
It turned out so well! I really like the design of this kit. Even though it’s different from a traditional Rolife build, the finished result is incredibly detailed and charming.
