Well, it’s been hell of a ride.

I’ve learnt a lot through this community. I’ve had my laughs, my comings and my goings, I’ve met pretty awesome people… It’s been hell of a ride the past few months.

It’s time to say goodbye though.

I’ll keep my reasons for myself Let’s just say that there are a few things that have been bothering me recently (and some not that recently…

Either way, let that be as it is. It’s not important now. I’ve been thinking for a couple of weeks and I’ve decided that the best for everyone is to drop it.

Well, the best for me actually.

To be checking the community every day, almost every hour, reading, commenting, laughing, posting… It’s been a ride, but it’s been SO time consuming. I need to deal with a lot of things, and I believe I’ve become somewhat… Addicted, to the community? Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is a bad thing for me.

I’ll miss you guys, but I need to do this right now for my own sake. I hope you have a great time in the community nonetheless! Oh and @Robotime / @CustomerService, I’ll be waiting for an address so I can send you back the kits you’ve provided me with for the meetup that never happened and that won’t be happening anymore.

PS: Oh yeah, I’ll keep building my kits alright. While I’m leaving the community, building kits like these is just so relaxing, so good, such a joyfull experience. I won’t stop doing so.

Anyway. It’s been an absolute pleasure, you guys.

Oh, and my Cuckoo Clock is almost finished. What a wonderful kit to build. Thanks again for all the tips, they’ve been SUPER helpful.

Anyway, this is it then. See you/read you around… Not around here, though.

I understand where you are coming from. I also took a time off from the community this April and just casually scroll every now and then. It’s nice to see updates and get inspiration from others in the community but I find the Facebook group to have a better atmosphere for that. Haha maybe because no one is worried about points and such there so every response you get is actually authentic. Smell you around the other sites?

I completely understand. I had posted about genuine responses and someone did not care for that and it was removed. When there are points and prizes involved it seems that happens. I am on a bit of a break too.
