Dear gentle readers
I’m coming back to you today with a continuation of my project Parallel World Marble Run All-Direction Extension. This one will be loooooooooooong… xD
Part 1/5 The Future City MR02S

As some of you read recently I’m moving out xD I thought I’d do it at the beginning of the month, but the paperwork is dragging on terribly, and for the past three weeks I’ve been completely packed and waiting for the launch signal! The worst part is that I’ve packed all my kits (a precious cargo), and my room takes up about 20-30 boxes, so it’s not exactly a comfortable environment for crafting. That’s basically how I’ve been for the last three weeks at home, at work, and in the middle of the night. Checking if my loan application is ready:

Okay, but generally speaking, I’ve been hit with spring depression, and the last few weeks have been very difficult
(probably too much stress and other things also that’s why i’m not so active). I’ve turned to the only remedy I know: assembling a new kit. So yesterday I unpacked one box and took out Hip-Hop Street MR03S set. This time, I decided to give you more details about the kit. For anyone interested ![]()
As usual, the box comes with detailed instructions for safe assembly, including the set itself and the included ball lift. I love that the card with additional parts is separate, so I can check and arrange the parts myself.
Everything arrives in tightly packed bags, carefully labeled and protected, so there are no scratches or damage. We have parts to cut out and ready-made in bags. What’s great about this set is that the tools for assembling the model are already included, so it’s also a good set for beginners! Seriously!
While this is a big plus (as I mentioned), the parts are super secure, yet it also generates quite a bit of waste. But you know what? I often use them for the table’s waste bin, so it’s a matter of perspective ![]()
Dear Robotime: here one comment! In the previous set, the elevator parts were in a separate cardboard box, and I must say, I definitely preferred that solution to the subsequent bags. I would definitely go back to this version, as I read that this model was released as the third one (though I don’t know about the second and fourth ones yet
)
I like to take everything out and arrange it alphabetically to make it easier to find parts.
So I started building part B – even though it should have been part C or D, but I somehow decided it would be option B for me – (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I recommend going back to the previous section xD) Reading the instructions is very easy – normally, we build the basic layout, but sometimes we have to be careful to choose the correct step for the model you’re building. This is clearly marked, so I really didn’t have any problems.
Here’s a tip from me: it’s not in the instructions or the included parts, but I recommend getting double-sided tape. Even though the paper parts of the center housing are held together by other plastic parts, I didn’t like how they stuck out, so I highly recommend gluing them together to create a beautiful interior.
This time it took me a bit longer to assemble but that’s all because of the stubborn parts
This definitely needs improvement.
- The house - the balls kept getting stuck on it during the first tests - there is a slight problem with the roof, which is not perfectly fitted and therefore raises the level a bit and the balls get stuck
- The problem here was that the entire part was loose and simply fell out when the model was turned. It wasn’t attached to the outer casing. The solution was to glue it to the slide (again, double-sided tape).
- The place for the chain is not secured in any way, so it keeps falling out with every move + the pliers with the tip as in the picture came in handy here.
- Another blocking point was balancing the wheel but this could be solved after a few tries
- The container was lifting from the base, despite strong pressure, it was going up (double-sided tape again)
Don’t get me wrong, this didn’t spoil my enjoyment of this kit, but it did consume a lot more time. Ultimately, the ball test passed all possible paths without a problem.
The most satisfying part of this model for me.
But look, it looks fantastic when it’s finished
Due to the move, but as I wrote recently in the first part, I like to keep the front part of the protector for the windshield. Since I’ll be continuing to assemble this model in part 5 xD, it also protects against fingering.
Elevator. At this point, I didn’t combine the two sets I had already completed, nor did I build an additional elevator, because I figured I’d show the full elevator model in the final part when I built the final element.
So that’s all from me. If you’re still seeing this and haven’t fallen asleep, congratulations xD This post took a while, but I hope you liked it. Let me know what you think ![]()

See you in the next episode! ![]()
