Saying Hi from Oregon

Aww I hadn’t actually noticed that but I went back and looked at your photo - that’s such a cute idea

That was actually pretty fun. Slightly fiddly but not overly. I can’t do real fiddly kits. I really like the finished product.

I think for Rolife it’s going to be Sunset Isle and then the ROKR Cuckoo clock.

I have done both! Both are good. Be sure to use magnifier on top right and search both for great tips!

I always remember for the cuckoo clock to be careful when doing the cuckoo part. Be sure spring is placed correctly and same for the clips by the doors. If not done correctly - will have problems with cuckoo.

Also be sure to carefully read directions for activating cuckoo etc. It is a specific number of pushes on the step.

and enjoy!

I feel the same way! I like a little intricate stuff, but too much stresses me out. I’m really grateful for everyone who reviewed Oxygen Oasis as I thought it was so pretty, but I’m definitely not ready for that level of fiddliness.

Good to know! I will definitely be using tutorials and tips for that one. The coffee factory was my last “gear” kit and it was pretty tough.

Oh yes, I saw that in one of the Facebook groups. Not for me!

I would choose the Cuckoo Clock over Sunset Isle, for sure. I was not a fan of Sunset Isle.

I would also love to see you build the Cuckoo Clock. It’s a lovely kit.

Hello @krissyann64 ! Welcome to the fun community!
I love your builds!
Keep posting and we love to hear from you again!

How come? I’ve been excited to do that one.

I posted some of the issues I had with Sunset Isle. Overall a beautiful kit but there were some issues as I started to put walls up. Here is link to my comments. Jeanne’s Sunset isle
