I love Agatha Christie too!! Her ability to build suspense and deliver an ending you never saw coming makes her mysteries timeless.

I read a lot as a child. Grew up reading Babysitter’s club, Nancy Drew, Anne Rice, Harry Potter, Sophie Kinsella. The one book that brought me to tears with a terrible heartache was Marley & Me. Then I got fascinated with film adaptations and had me reading books and comparing them to the final visual on the screen from My Sister’s Keeper, Time Traveler’s Wife, and Racing in the Rain. I love the feel of a physical book on hand, there’s something special about flipping the pages. Now, books on the shelf acts as perfect pairing with booknooks of miniature worlds 
As an avid gamer and a massive fan of the hobbit I love this story

I feel your pain having also read Marley and Me, I also made the mistake of seeing the film adaptation at the cinema with my friend. I don’t know why I was so upset as it’s not like I didn’t already know what was coming
Its the first time the lights have ever gone up in the cinema and my best friend looked at me shocked and exclaimed that she had never seen me so upset before 
- I was even struggling to take to the film but I still managed to get completely cut up but the end of it 
The cinema adaption was good - just as moving as the book. It was really well done.
Same here about libraries versus bookstores when younger. My family moved a lot because my dad was in the military. One of the first things Mom did when we came to a new place was to take us to get our library cards, either on the air base or in the local town. When I got my drivers’ license, the first place I was allowed to drive alone was to the branch library.
When I left for college, the student bookstore became a favorite spot to hang out and search for new material while the college library was the place to study.
One of my fondest memories of teenage life was when i got hooked with sweet dreams and the title PS I LOVE YOU made me cry because Paul died. I also enjoyed reading chicken soup for the soul because the short stories are very heart warming
