I’ve built miniature houses, cafes, bedrooms, and shops before, but this is actually my first-ever Story Frame build, the Rolife Old Times Bookstore!
Honestly, I didn’t plan on buying it… but you know how it goes.
Me: I’m just browsing.
Also me 5 minutes later: Into the cart you go.
As a miniature collector and book lover, this kit immediately caught my attention. There’s just something magical about tiny bookstores. The warm lights, the stacks of books, and the cozy little details make me want to shrink myself down and spend an entire afternoon browsing tiny shelves.
What makes it even more exciting is that it’s a frame build! I love that it can be displayed like a piece of art on the wall instead of taking up precious shelf space, which, let’s be honest, I’m rapidly running out of.
Now tell me…
If you could spend one day inside any miniature build, would you choose:
A. A bookstore
B. A cafe
C. A flower shop
D. A cozy bedroom
And for my fellow collectors… am I the only one who goes shopping for one thing and somehow comes home with a new kit?
Wish me luck on my very first frame build! Thank you!
@MamaNheza I love these!! But idk all day at a coffee shop, I’d be too buzzed and on a sugar high. All day at a library? It’d be cool for a couple hours but then I’d get hungry and want a couch and a blanket. Now a cozy bed… I think I could do that one.
Thank you so much! I’m really excited because this is my first Story Frame build. Looking forward to the process and enjoying every tiny detail along the way! @Minus_88
Wonderful pick for you. Isn’t it funny how things fall into carts? It happens to me all the time.
Which little world would I love? To be in a green, leafy garden with birds, and a book in my hand.
Haha, I’m convinced miniature kits have a secret talent for jumping into shopping carts on their own! I’m glad I’m not the only one it happens to.
And your little world sounds absolutely beautiful. A peaceful garden filled with greenery, birds singing, and a good book in hand, that sounds like the perfect place to escape to. Honestly, if Rolife ever made a miniature garden reading nook like that, I’d probably buy it before I even finished reading the description.
Yes, Sis! I got it from KKV at SM North EDSA. I was there just last Tuesday, and luckily it was still on sale at that time. I’m not sure if the promotion is still ongoing today, but it might be worth checking if you’re nearby!
And thank you! This is actually my first Story Frame build, so I’m really excited (and a little nervous ) to put it together.
A miniature cafe sounds like the perfect choice! As a fellow sweet tooth, I completely understand. I think I’d spend all day admiring the tiny cakes and pastries, and probably wishing they were real!
Thank you! There’s something so relaxing about putting together tiny details and watching the whole scene come to life. And a cozy bedroom is such a great choice! Give me soft blankets, warm lighting, a stack of books, and a cup of coffee, and I’d happily stay there all day.
