Yesterday, my sister was building a kit at my place: the Hello Kitty Supermarket (DA001). This little cutie was my prize from the Counting Down to Christmas giveaway, and it is absolutely adorable.
The size is the same as the Little & Warm Space Series, some of you might recognize kits like The Muse Bookshop or Century Post Office. As I mentioned in another post, my sister came over yesterday for lunch and to spend some time together, and we thought it would be a great idea to find one of my pending kits that she could build: something that wouldn’t take too long and wasn’t overly complicated, since she hasn’t been building kits for as long as I have.
Out of all of them, she chose the Hello Kitty Supermarket, and honestly, it was the perfect choice. I don’t have many photos because while she was working on her kit, I was continuing with mine, and she was much more focused on building than on taking pictures, which is completely fine. I’m the obsessed one who takes photos of every single step to save the whole process in my album .
She picked up the rhythm very quickly and kept showing me the little pieces of furniture she was building, saying how cute they were… until she reached the bags almost at the very end That’s when I started hearing her complain that the pieces were very small and making her nervous!!! I offered to help her several times, but she wanted to do it all by herself, and she did an amazing job!
As you can see, the final result is absolutely adorable. I really love all the tiny details in this kit and how Hello Kitty is integrated into it. My only problem now is that I kind of want to collect them all… but I’ve only seen the rest on AliExpress at some crazy prices. Hopefully I’ll get lucky and find more kits from this collection at a reasonable price

This kit is super cute! Your sister did an amazing job finishing it. Having the complete series of this would be so nice but I think it’s only available in China I think.
