But after dinner and a little bit of watching series, I made some time to start my book nook. It was some well deserved me-time.
This is the first Rolife Book nook I make and I can honestly say, even though I’m just getting started: I love it!
The previous book nooks I did, were all completely DIY, with cutting and glueing all serparate parts, and now all is pre-cut. And most of the things just stick to the self adhesive strips that are in the kit.
Of course most of you know that already (and I did too) but it’s so nice to really experience it now.
So I just did the first steps to get the base done. It’s the little railway tunnel.
There was 1 little crack. You can see it on the pictures if you look closely. But it did not break all the way, so I will just leave it as it is.
Here are the pictures of what I did today. I will post more soon when I continue building this kit.
It is so wonderful that you found time for yourself to start your very first Rolife book nook after a long day. We are happy that you are enjoying the convenience of the pieces being ready to use, and do not worry about that tiny crack in the tunnel as it simply adds unique character. We cannot wait to see your Street Scene come to life as you continue this creative journey.
I don’t know. It’s the actual title on this one, and I did not see any other kits where street scene was mentioned.
I guess all book nooks have their own special feel. Personally I was drawn to this one for the colors and the two light modes. Since I only made the cheap ones before, it is just a treat to make this one now
It is a different one from all the rest. It really stood out between the other ones. And it was mainly the colors and lights of this one that made me choose it. And until now I’m still grateful I did
