I just finished this beautiful unbranded book nook and it was an absolute joy to build. The kit comes with six lights in multiple colors and included all the dust shields, which I always appreciate.
What really impressed me about this design is how open it is. Three sides are fully accessible—the front, back, and top—so you can actually see inside from multiple angles. I was genuinely unsure about that when I started, wondering if it would feel too exposed, but it really works. The fourth side is slightly inset, showing just the side of the little house inside, which gives it a lovely layered appearance.
The details throughout are fantastic. The velvet stickers for the chair and couches feel genuinely soft, and all the lights installed smoothly. The wiring was a bit snug in a couple of sections, but there was plenty of slack, so no real issues. The kit includes a minimal amount of books, but they’re still fun to work with and display.
This is a solid, satisfying build that I’d recommend.
