Just finished the Garden House book nook! This was such a fun build.
I tried edge painting for the first time using a white acrylic marker I had on hand. It’s not perfect, but I’m pleased with the results! I’ve ordered a full set of colors to use on future kits.
One thing I really loved about this kit is how it uses what feels like coated thick paper - it looks so nice, especially the pieces hanging from the ceiling. The quality and effect are really impressive!

This was my first build. I loved it and haven’t stopped building since. I may need to build a room just to store all my builds lol

With white on those edges, you may need to go over it a few times until you are happy with the look you are trying for.
I think it looks very cozy!

You are moving really fast on the builds. Painting the edges for the firdt time was hard for me to even after 3 layers i still wasn’t satisfied but it takes time to learn it.

This is the first kit I ever did and it remains one of my favorites ever. I just love the little boots and the peacefulness of the scene. Very nicely done!
