I admit I had issues with building other nook books. The tabs don’t usually fit or sometimes tabs needed extensive amount of sanding/waxing. But I’m surprised about this build.
So far, I’m enjoying it. It’s easy, straightforward, and a nice break from all the personal stress that I’m experiencing lately. The tabs fit very well. Just needed a little hammering here and there.
Hey mchipman! I am so happy to hear that Beika Cho is giving you that much needed break from the stress lately. It is wonderful that those tabs are behaving for you this time, even if a little hammer was involved! That convenience store vibe is just so cozy, and I cannot wait to see your final post when it is all finished.
But this one isn’t a Book Nook, is it not? Or am I mistaken?
Either way, I’m so glad to hear (well, to read lol) that it’s enjoyable and a smooth build so far! It’s looking great. You’re doing a terrific job as usual!
I really do like the Asian kits. This one is great and it is coming together beautifully. I hope it’s helping tou through this hard time you’re having.
Seeing your progress makes me miss Japan. Their convenience stores in there are heavenly your build is coming along very nicely. I’m now seriously considering getting this one
It’s looking great already!!! I’m glad this one is being a smoother build for you, sometimes you really need that. And yes, it totally has that convenience store vibe!
