I admit I do not mind the boxes. They are kind of cathartic to make! This is a beautiful build, I agree. What to do next?.. I have made 66+ and so many are my favorites. It kind of depends on your interests.You could consider Henry’s Chocolate shop. That is a nice one. So is the Cheers bar. Elsa’s Tailoring is a beautiful one too.
Others… Vienna Bookstore and do the Aromatic cafe cart that sets alongside it.

The Tipsy Restaurant is adorable. You have out so much effort into creating this masterpiece and it is great to have that time of intentional solitude. I would suggest the A Frame cabin as a fun build to do.

Thank you, Kim! It’s great to know I’m not alone in noticing that jump between the builds! I really love what you said about family. Sharing the easier kits with my toddler has been so much fun, and it makes me appreciate my solo “me-time” with the traditional kits even more. It’s the perfect balance! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Wow, 66+ builds is amazing! I wish I could find the paper boxes cathartic, maybe they’ll grow on me! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

What a coincidence you mentioned those specific kits—I am actually currently working on the Vienna Bookstore right now! And Elsa’s Tailoring is already sitting in my stash waiting for its turn. Nice! I like how you said ‘there’s something therapeutic about intentional solitude.’ I definitely agree with you. Building Rolife kits is very relaxing (at least that’s how I feel … until I have to build shelves from really thin wires that don’t really hold its shape, or when the glue I use doesn’t really cooperate …) but it is satisfying :blush: This is actually one of my favorite builds.

There’s something so relaxing about sitting down with a miniature project and focusing on tiny details for a while.

The Tipsy Restaurant turned out amazing, especially all the little food items and bottles. And I have to agree with you, that tiny pitcher is ridiculously cute! :heart_eyes:

I also laughed when you mentioned the paper boxes because those little folded pieces always seem to take longer than expected. :joy:

If you’re looking for another cozy build, I think you would love Simon’s Coffee or Miller’s Garden. They have that same warm, inviting feeling and lots of charming details to enjoy.

Congratulations on such a wonderful first traditional Rolife build! I have a feeling this is only the beginning of a very happy miniature journey. :yellow_heart:

Yes!!! Intentional solitude is exactly what makes this hobby so special. Though I have to laugh because the struggle with the flimsy wires and sticky fingers from glue is so incredibly real! :see_no_evil_monkey: Tricky parts aside, it’s amazing how rewarding the final build feels. So happy to connect with a fellow builder who gets it :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Those quiet moments while the kids are resting are gold! :rofl::heart: Honestly, having a hobby like this is such a blessing for my mental health. Between all the chaos of mom life, it’s amazing how these tiny worlds can bring so much peace to a busy mom’s heart. It’s so nice to find a hobby where we can finally catch our breath, enjoy some quiet time, and just focus on creating something beautiful for ourselves.

I just had quite a laugh because little paper boxes definitely look simple but take forever to fold perfectly! :joy: Thank you also for the recommendations, Simon’s Coffee and Miller’s Garden both look incredibly lovely, I just looked it up online. I will definitely add those on my future projects​:heart_eyes:
