Progress 2 of 3: Blossom cart slow progress and the importance of taking breaks

As I’m slowly building the blossom cart for the second time, I’m realizing why I’m enjoying this build.

It’s beautiful, whimsical, and it reminded me of Spring ahead of us.

That being said, this time around I’m being very careful with the fragile parts, especially this part above the wheel. The first time I built this last year I wasn’t dainty and I broke it.

Another important thing that I realized, was the importance of taking breaks. As this is a quick build, I deliberately slowed things down. I spent a beautiful weekend with my husband visiting Twin Lakes, California, which is about three hours away from us, enjoying nature, gives me a renewed sense of passion and enthusiasm in building miniatures.

Wishing you all a wonderful start of your week.

Right?! There wasn’t a lot of people either so it would’ve been a perfect location to build a kit @Alicesharpe

Those bendy pieces can be quite tricky in the beginning. You eventually get used to them and much better at dealing with them. It looks perfect and that Lake view is absolutely stunning!

I did break one but I just glued it and it’s fine. Glue solves everything

Oh yes, it does! I am in awe of the number of people who request and pay for broken parts on the ROKR fans page.

Right?! I’m just as amazed. I can see ordering if its an important mechanical piece but other than that- glue it. @Nita_Davis
