👍 [Pro Tips] Sakura tree house review (sort of?) 𑁍ܓ🌷˚₊ᨶ႒ᩚ

╔═══════ ೋღ :hibiscus: ღೋ ═══════╗

This is going to be my first ever post where I actually talk about my kits and what I loved about them and what I didn’t and I’ll post once a week till I finish all of my kits (total of 7) so hopefully you’ll enjoy it.

Now about this kit I actually I assembled this one back in September, but kept procrastinating posting about till now  so leggo!!

This was my first ever kit from rolife and my first ever wooden puzzle which means I practically went in blind not knowing anything besides I just need to snap pieces together, while assembling was definitely fun I sort of expected it to be way harder than this? The total time it took me was 8hrs divided on 2 days which felt lacking? I was waiting for 16hrs+ assembly time considering the 4stars difficulty which was quite disappointing since I expected it be much more challengind but oh well! I enjoyed it anyway

But before we dive into it a moment to appreciate the packaging because who ever designated it ate :sparkles::sparkles:

Some of the details that I absolutely loved:

First of all the colour palette, at first i didn’t like it that much but it grew up on me and now it’s something I adore about this kit

2.The swing, it’s the cutest thing ever

3.The bench that I broke

4.This plant omg :sob::sob: absolutely Adorable

5.The tea set on the table in the guest house

6.The storage with the cutest cleaning supplies in it

7.The table with the smallest chairs ever  on the balcony

8.The sneek peak of its sister kit the sakura train?

9.The mechanical water bucket with its horrendous knot

Now to what I didn’t like that much:

1.Lots of parts of the kit were fragile and not that sturdy when snapping them together ex:the guest house, the storage, and the majority of the branches except the main one, all of them keep moving when you touch them which is annoying

Specifically these omg

2.I finally understood people’s obsession with glue in the fb group when I started working with the sticker dots because as much as I hate to say it they’re mostly useless, my branches keep falling off :sob::sob:

And finally the difficulties that I faced:
As it was an easy kit they weren’t that many except

1.some smaller parts being too fragile for my rough hands and ending up broken (the bench :sob:)

2.this fence like part, as fun as it was playing with it I broke it  multiple times  as you can see

FINAL RATING: 7/10 :..。₊‧°𐐪♡𐑂°‧₊゚¨゚゚

And that’s all for today hope you enjoyed my rant, thank you and merriest christmas :heart_exclamation:

A bonus : today’s sunrise

This is a difficult model for a beginner but it called to you and you accepted the challenge it presented. And it turned out great!

I would definitely use glue on this model. It nice that I usually don’t have to use a ton of glue when making Rolife models. Just here and there.

Thanks for your honest review. I use glue anytime a piece feels too loose. Looking forward to your other reviews. Merry Christmas

It is a hard one to start with. If yoi did this one after a few months it would be a different experience

Sakura Tree is special as a first kit, and you captured both the charm and the struggles so well. Good job!

I have yet to build this kit so your post is really informative! Even more so since I’m wanting to introduce this hobby to people who’ve never built before.

thank youuu!!!
the only thing you need is glue whenever you need the stickers use glue, and be kind of gentle with smaller parts such as the bench, the stairs, the flowers and so on.
and yes it has one of the most beautiful details ever

@valleyggoo thanks for sharing your pros and cons. I think the difficulty with this kit is the fragile parts. I am a glue fanatic and even if I break something I am gluing. I have a few types to choose from depending on situation. I loved this tree house and all the little hidden surprises in it. I almost forgot some of thise until I read this!
Thanks and looking forward to more!

My main advice is whenever you see sticky dots use the glue and be gentle with the small parts and good luck :sparkles:
