I highly recommend having this as one of your tools. I already have a desktop magnifying glass, but having the goggles made everything much easier and manageable, especially with dealing with the little details of my miniatures.
For example, when I was doing the dollhouse, the goggles was a game changer because there’s so many things that I was not able to see using my desktop magnifiers. I even saw strings of glue that I couldn’t see in a normal setting.
The goggles have different interchangeable lenses with different magnifications. Just perfect.
Yes you can most certainly wear it even with your own glasses. The lenses are far enough from your eyes. You can adjust how close you want to be towards your eyes, so plenty of room for your glasses. @Tkaplan
Wow! Those goggles are amazing I think I want one too because my eyes are really having a hard time with the small details.
Thanks @mchipman for sharing this valuable tool!
The goggles is so amazing! I don’t know if it works for me since I wear an eyeglasses. I think I can only wear one, the disadvantages of having bad eyes.
Thanks a lot for the tip! I remembering you mentioning (and wearing) them in a previous topic.
I may think about that, although I’m pretty sure my main problem with crafting all those tiny things are my fingers more than my eyes but I’m sure they’d make a difference anyway.
I only use it for a short period of time. The strong magnification certainly gives me a headache. Once in a while, I flip it up then I bring it down when I’m ready. @Liset
This is very helpful with really small details like dirt, glue strings, etc. I don’t use it all the time, only when I’m absolutely sure I’m going to need it. But it’s good to have this tool in your arsenal.
