Pro-Tip for adhesive application: normal adhesive that comes in tubes normally have an oversized applicator tip and the diameter of the outlet for the most part is simply just too large to regulate small amounts of adhesive dispensing volume control and placement.
To solve this, what I use are small 30ml/1 oz plastic squeeze type bottles that have a metal tip at 1mm. The tube of adhesive shown in the photo has a volume of 35ml (just over 1 ounce). If you are using white glue or say multi-purpose type medium flowable adhesive with your builds these bottles are perfect. They stand upright thereby prevent spillage via squeeze out dripping. They have a silicon cap sleeve to prevent tip clogging due to dry out. They have control on adhesive placement and dispensed volume based on such a small tip, which is critical in many of one’s builds.
Currently I consider these are one-use type adhesive applicators since they are extremely hard to flush out any adhesive residue. However, if using the same type of adhesive frequently, then simple add more to the bottle before you run out. Thereby extending the bottle applicator’s life and use. Found a set of ten (10) bottles and tips on Taobao for less than $3.00 in total. I dislike wasting adhesive and these bottle applicators will come in very handy in my current build which has hundreds of repetitive tiny glue ups.
NOTE: do NOT try to use CA type glue (Crazy Glue or Super Glue) in these bottles. They are not suited at all for such low viscosity type fluids.

Thanks. The awareness is the real focus. There are so many novice builders and quite frankly, not a great Tips Library retrieval process of useful tips that can be easily found. Would love to see a structured tips database based on build processes maybe. Something like De-Boarding, Sanding, Lubricating, Painting, Assembly, Electrical, Troubleshooting, Replacement Part, Gluing, Testing, to name a few Level 1 topic sections.
This is a really useful tip! I used bottles like these quite a lot for a superglue I had, but I eventually stopped using them because the glue always ended up drying inside. For me, using glue with a brush has been much more practical and easier to control, especially for tiny pieces or areas where I don’t want to use too much
Ohhh that’s a good idea! I tried something similar before, but maybe I wasn’t consistent enough with it. I might give it another chance someday, because those tiny nozzles are really useful when they don’t clog.
I use the same applicator bottle. Life has been so much easier (and less messier) since i got a pack of these bottles. I also use a little red plastic glue spreader (very useful for even spreads specially when sticking paper).
