Is it just me? I already have three kits that I’ve opened and started working on, but I still haven’t finished any of them.
I’m just not in the mood lately, maybe it’s because of the weather here in the Philippines. It’s currently 31°C and raining, but since it’s so humid, the rain actually makes the heat feel even worse. Instead of cooling things down, it just feels like the hot streets are steaming everything up.
Thank goodness for air conditioning. It’s the only reason I’m surviving right now. My electricity bill, though? That’s another story… I don’t think I’ll survive that.
Really hoping we get some cooler weather soon so I can finally get back to building my kits!
@Anje_Leonoza_Mira i totally get you hun
The heat was overwheming here the heatwave we had was to much i couldnt concentrate on anything not even building
My kits ! I hope it cools down for you soon
But we have another one arriving but its going to only reach the 30s but thats bad enough !
My country is also quite hot. Using a fan while working almost blew the leaves off the trees. But there’s nothing I can do without a fan. It’s terribly hot.
Unfortunately in Victoria Australia it is winter… yukky cold so great weather to rug up and create some beautiful kits. It is too cold to go out so l expect I will be building alot more kits.
You’re definitely not alone! Hot, humid weather can really drain the motivation to do anything, especially detailed miniature work. Sometimes it’s okay to let those kits wait until you’re feeling inspired again. They’ll still be there when the weather (and the electricity bill ) is a little kinder. Wishing you cooler days and plenty of cozy building time soon!
