My builds have been Delayed this Keep Its very Hot over here in the UK Reaching 38 where i am! Is anyone else baking in this heat?
Id love to build and record it! But I currently feel like im close to a heat stroke Hopefully the heat goes away quick! Heatwaves in the UK are no joke
@Alicesharpe alice im melting ! I done some of my kit tonight but oh my days ! I cant do no more ! im going to try and finish it tomorow if i can ! As its getting
Hotter and hotter !
Miniatures can definitely wait until it’s a bit cooler. Stay hydrated, keep the fan or AC going if you have one, and take it easy. We’ll all still be here when you’re ready to get back to building. Stay safe in the heat!
Fans become our best friends during a heatwave. Hopefully the weather cools down soon so you can get back to building without feeling like you’re melting. Until then, take it easy and let the kits wait a little longer!
I’m in Florida and I’m melting away haha. It’s literally so hot this year! I’m currently working on a Japanese convenience store and it’s kinda challenging because the pieces are so small lol
I’m so sorry to hear this. I perfectly understand what you mean. We can have about 45C realfeel during the peak of summer here.
Hydrate, wear comfy clothes.
I’m currently working on Sunset Carnival while homeschooling my kids.
@Alicesharpe that heat sounds exhausting, and pausing the builds is completely reasonable. Water, fans, light clothes, and a kit waiting patiently on the table all sound like the right plan for now. Hope the UK cools down soon so recording and building feel fun again.
@joy.licerio that 45C real-feel note puts the heatwave into perspective. Hydration, comfortable clothes, and slower building are practical reminders for everyone crafting through summer. Homeschooling while building Sunset Carnival sounds like a full day.
We’re down to 31° as we are entering the rainy season and there’s a typhoon lurking around … but it is still so humid that i feel like i’m overheating and suffocating, despite the fan pointing to me. Stay hydrated!
