The weather condition here in the Philippines today is very hot and humid, with temperatures hovering around 30-36°C and humidity levels frequently ranging between 58% and 76%, leading to a much higher heat index.
Because of this, my daughter was stuck at home the whole afternoon so she was starting to get extremely bored. She pulled out the Cozy Kitchen kit box from our cabinet and asked to “build kitchen” and so we did.
Since the weather was so hot and humid (scorching sun then isolated thunderstorms every now and then), we were both very uncomfortable the whole day. We have accomplished very little with this kit today.
@khimmymade i understand its so hot here in the uk i cant function much myself ! My grandchildren are finding it very bless them ! Cornettos ! And tip tops to the rescue and plenty of water ! Crafting can wait till a cooler day lol !
It’s really hot out here as well at the moment, but not as humid. I took the time to clean this morning when it wasn’t too hot yet. And now I will stay inside and craft as well.
Even little progress is still progress, so well done. It’s nice you can pick this up another day to finish it
The weather is what i understand The UK has a heatwave and today is 34° and im exhausted, tired, hungry and fed up ive decided in having a “Me” day where i just lay in bed all day infront of my Fan while playing Animal crossing and Disney Dreamlight Valley lol
It’s very hot here in Florida today too but luckily very windy so I can relate. It is great you get to spend some family time with your daughter and you guys are building a cozy kitchen! It looks amazing so far
I understand the issues with the heat. I hope that tomorrow is better for you. Is there no air conditioning in the Phillipines? I couldn’t live without mine.
Hi @khimmymade, even a hot and humid day turned into a sweet crafting memory with your daughter. Slow progress still counts, and the Cozy Kitchen already looks like a lovely shared project!
