Ocean Fisher spotted in the office!

Well, well, well! I can’t wait to update you guys with my Titanic progress, but I’ve decided to build my Ocean Fisher in a couple of days during my lunch breaks at work! And it paid of

It’s a quick build! It comes with some tricky bits but it’s an easy one overall, and the tricky parts are basically those kind of “okay, how do I hold those together and fit them there at the same time?”, so nothing to be really worried about :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I can’t stop mentioning how much I love that many of the ROKR kits come with a small build to go with the main one, which in this case is some kind of compass.

And look, this time you even have a little compartment to save it from the dust!

The movement is so smooth, ladies and gentlemen. I love iiiiiit.

Next step, Santa on a Sleigh! (Sadly I didn’t find the one on a Slave… Do you know where I can find it @Nita_Davis?

PS: @Jerry_Boswijk recently mentioned that my builds are unique because something happens to all of them. So I finished building the Ocean Fisher and I was throwing the sheets away when I saw something. “What? I finished it and D4 is still here waiting to be fit. Whaaaaat. What did I miss? :scream: ” It couldn’t be something THAT heavy if the build is finished and smooth and everything works perfectly, right..?

So yeah, D4 was supposed to make the dog look raised instead of, you know, steady. So my Ocean Fisher is unique because my dog is not raised, what about that

One day I’ll build a kit and it won’t have something unexpectedly and unintentionally “special”. But today is not that day :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

You did a great job on this build! So fun its in the office and everyone can see it :hugs: Spread the word of Robotime! Lol My boyfriend missed D4 at first, I had to go through the instructions to find where that piece went for him lol!

Thanks! Well, it’s good to know that it’s an easily missed part and it’s not just my own thing

Nice!! It’s cool that you can fit some building in to your lunch breaks… If I did that, I would definitely lose everything.. the factory isn’t really clean..:rofl: I have Santa on his sleigh waiting for me to build as well.. you did great!

It looks perfect on the desk, you’ll probably get a lot of comments and questions about it  It happens to me too sometimes that I forget a piece  (sorry I ran out of likes for today otherwise you would have definitely gotten one)

It’s always nice to have each and every one be “special” in some sort of way. I feel special as the only kid on the block with a Santa and the SLAVE.  Never trusting voice text again…

Ha ha you are just adding your own “special” flair. Love how it turned out. Lucky you didn’t lose track of time on your lunch break :joy: @TheToday

That would be a hard thing for me….losing track of time would be a sure thing…LOL!

Well, what can I say? I’ve kind of grown “fond” of those… customizations

Hahaha! It all depends on where you are I guess. I’m lucky enough to be a Front Desk agent for the headquarters of a company, and I have plenty of space in the back

We’ll see about that, but hopefully! I’ve already talked with a colleague who is a lot into models. He’s more used to the classic WWII models that go by history and scale and glue and paint and all that, but he’s genuinely curious about Robotime now!

Oh, we’ll never forget that :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks a lot for your words! I’ll start building my Santa tomorrow probably. Let’s see if I can find something on the way that may help you fix the movement of yours!
