So far everything is going together ok and the pieces are thicker with no issue. I still have a lot more to do though.

I love the little things on the tree! I wish it lit up though. Since the base turns, I think adding lights may get tangled. Lots of things underneath too so might be difficult.

I am mostly using markers since some places are tiny and tight. Not perfect for sure. I am using those Ohahu or whatever they are called. and those are a bit better for coverage.

wonderful!!! i love that it is three sided and mechanical. I have done the four sided european musical box and enjoyed the process. It’s not mechanical though and would need a turn table to see the full nice view.

There are a lot! You have to take a moment and really look. They are not hidden so that is good. At least not yet.

Oh that’s good to know! I have a box from that brand, I can’t remember whether they might be alcohol markers though. I hear those are great for stained glass…
I actually ordered a set of black and white paint pens because they’re the ones I am going through the quickest at the moment. Finding I could get a back of just black and white was a revelation!
