The last kit i was Lucky to get before stopping as a ambassador was this amazing kit.
It has a lot of parts and new techniques. I struggled with making the small noodles packaging. You have to use different sizes of foam between them. So you have to keep sharp to not mess up the foam parts.
There is also some wire bending with a very handy tool i saved for the future.
The sliding doors were also tricky and i have them not 100% as i would like but optics is good enough.
This is a kit that keeps you busy for a long while and is surely not a beginners kit but a real test of skill, just how i like it.
All my kit building also helps me in real life. Im buildijg a wardeove closet for my daughter and the insight i gained from my hobby made this a lot easier.
@Jerry_Boswijk What an impressive build! The Nostalgic Corner Shop looks like such an intricate kit abd its very popular !those tiny details like the noodle packaging and sliding doors require serious patience, so you should be really proud of how it turned out.
I love how crafting skills translate into real life! It’s amazing how understanding spatial assembly and fine details in miniatures gives you that extra confidence for full-sized DIY projects like your daughter’s wardrobe. Best of luck with the wardrobe build, and thank you for sharing your experience
I really love this kit. With all the small details, i know that this would not be an easy kit. Would take a lot of patience and a lot of walk aways. But it’s always worth it in the end. You did a great job on this! I like the challenge too. One day, I will build this one as well. Thanks for sharing.
That sounds like such a rewarding final ambassador build! It definitely sounds like a kit that puts your skills to the test, especially with those tiny noodle packages, wire bending, and tricky sliding doors. I love that you’ve found your miniature-building skills are helping with real-life projects too. If you can handle all those tiny pieces, a wardrobe for your daughter should be no problem!
Hi Jerry. I think building kits gives us skills that can transfer over into life e.g. attention to detail.
You’re doing great on your daughter’s closet.
Jerry, I was not in love with those foams for sure. I struggled keeping them sealed, finally said what the heck. I kept the tools that helped shape the hangers too. There were some handy ones.
and yes for someone who really wants to take their time or feel like spending time, this kit is the one. Took me several days but honestly loved every bit.
As for the doors, I found if I would remove the roof (which I finally did) I was able to get the doors on much easier and with less struggle!
