Here’s my custom build for the Rokr 9th thingy! I made and already posted this a while back, but I still rlly like how it looks. It’s like a nice rusty, burnt sienna color to it, with monarch butterflies and a black swan. I used sharpie for this, it bled a lot and it smelled like sharpie for a good while lmao. I wouldn’t mind coloring a another rokr build, but this time with paint markers.

I love how it is subdued in appearance but the colors work amazing together. Not over done, just perfect. It makes the Monarch stand out SO well.

I love this so much! I really like how the subtle colours of the harp give the butterfly and swan a neutral background to really pop. I’ve found the acrylic paint pens really soak into the wood. Did you find that with the sharpies, too?

The sharpies does bleed A LOT into the wood. Tbh I wouldn’t recommend Sharpies,due to the heavy bleeding, it’s difficult to get fine lines, including the strong smell that’s stays over a week or more and a bit of smudging.

It might be inevitable with the dry wood - I saw someone recommend priming the wood first, and I might give that a try next time I customise a wood kit.

LOL thank you for the compliment,but I’m a artist it’s no secret. I guess I thought about making a dark colored wood for the harp, cuz most Robotime builds hardly have that nice burnt color to it. >:]
